External Description:
job purpose
Is responsible for the fulfilment of requisitions with client. If necessary adjusts the course of action to ensure fulfilment is met. Acts as a consultative partner to client’s Hiring Managers; develops a talent strategy that best suits the client needs and market conditions. Carries out the implementation and execution of recruitment and development program and policies.
Client & Customer Management (External)
Carries out simple procedural tasks to support management of external client relationships.
Clients:
- Contact with Hiring Managers on assigned requisitions. Collaborates with Hiring Managers and appropriate internal team members, to ensure that adequate sourcing and screening support is provided.
- Applies appropriate sourcing methods to for fill vacancies.
- Develops relationship within the team to maintain quality client delivery and solve client challenges.
- Employs all available recruiting and sourcing strategy tools and partners as needed to document and execute a sourcing strategy.
- Provides solutions to solve recruiting challenges and influence hiring decisions.
Candidates:
- Provides timely and useful follow up feedback to candidates on interview results.
- Use of influence and persuasion to sell candidate on employment opportunities, extends offers and negotiates to final acceptance of offer.
- Executes sourcing methodologies to effectively develop target candidate pipelines.
- Reviews CV’s/resumes, screen and interview candidates. Determines the fit while influencing and persuading candidates on employment opportunities.
External Communications
- Uses the external communications system to access required information for specified purposes.
- Is responsible for the execution of the employment branding strategy.
- Applies company communications, aligned with corporate policies and guidelines, and participates in regularly scheduled company and team meetings.
Needs Assessment
- Investigates questions related to existing programs, processes and procedures.
- Works with client to understand the client business, functional/technical skill needs and hiring drivers.
- Analyses job descriptions and translates to search criteria.
Solutions Analysis
- Follows existing procedures and precedents in determining the correct course of action for routine functional enquiries.
- Manages the candidate pool for each requisition including internal candidates. Determines potential candidate eligibility based on resumes, professional profiles and interview notes.
education & experience
Education
- University, bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional & intellectual ability
Experience
- Experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems.
Also in a candidate generation role, producing candidate pipelines and having a proven track record of hiring success.
- Preferably experience in a specific area of expertise depending on client need.
Knowledge
- Knowledge social media and social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Job boards and professional organizations.
- Preferably knowledge of Sourcing and screening methodologies.
