The position will play a key role in transforming the operating model from a transactional recruitment delivery team to a pro-active talent attraction force which is capable of anticipating business needs; this is recognized as a key driver for our Client’s capability to launch and roll-out new products swiftly and simultaneously across geographies.

This is a strategic function, focused on global stakeholder management and project management of high-priority and volume recruiting projects. A ‘Sole Contributor’ role with matrix responsibility ensuring consistent delivery quality across geographies by monitoring progress but also actively educating and mentoring teams and individual team members on job content, the supported business units and related challenges.

The incumbent will work directly with and assist the Client’s Talent & Development teams for their business unit domain to translate the overall staffing/resourcing strategy into specific local assignments and global projects. They will use their extensive knowledge of the respective functional areas covered to identify and validate opportunities to improve the Client’s access to certain candidate populations by:

  • Developing and executing a roadmap of talent attraction measures in close alignment with local iTA delivery teams. Responsible for measuring and feedback on impact to ultimately form an “evidence based talent attraction strategy”
  • Project Management of volume staffing projects: maintaining global oversight of the progress of international / global staffing initiatives to ensure synchronized start date and onboarding of larger employee groups according to the Client’s strategic priorities (launch readiness), driving execution, accountability and reporting; working within iTA’s matrix management globally to secure resources required for execution of hiring plans
  • Stakeholder management: involve and include Client key stakeholders in relationship building where appropriate. Develop and maintain trustful and positive relations to top (external and internal) stakeholders with regular follow-up
  • Networking: acting as the Client’s Talent Ambassador and contact person to key talents, responsible for mapping and maintaining networks / talent pools for key recurrent roles in close collaboration with local iTA delivery teams (this includes populating a Candidate Relationship Management tool)
  • Personal Engagement in key recruitment processes across the Globe where necessary

Key Success Measurements / Deliverables

  • Time-to-Fill reduction for pre-defined focus areas ( e.g. Medical Directors, Regulatory Affairs) – impact to be measured on an annual basis
  • Successful project coordination with hiring targets met to deadlines
  • Validated list of impactful employer branding/talent attraction events/measures in key geographies; personal attendance as the Client’s talent ambassador across geographies
  • Delivery of a Talent “Heatmap” with actionable hiring insights for strategic needs
  • Time between first intake/advance warning notice to iTA delivery teams and actual launch of roles
  • Conversion ratio of number of roles notified of at advance warning stage versus actual launched roles; Conversion ratio of actual launched roles to roles completed – KPIs to be agreed
  • Effective ‘Readiness reports’ for business launches delivered on a weekly basis; reporting and communications on ongoing open role status once launched

 Education & experience

  • University degree or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of 8 years’ recruitment experience ideally gained combining recruitment agency and inhouse recruitment experience
