External Description:

We are looking for a growth-minded finance professional to oversee Finance for Risesmart EMEA and specific topics for other Randstad global businesses. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Finance Manager for Global Businesses and the CFO Risesmart.  The successful candidate will act as the finance business partner for the MD Risesmart EMEA to steer Risesmart’s commercial finance strategy, support the Regional/Global finance organization, and provide financial oversight. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a regional & global matrixed environment where a number of financial activities are supported by local operating companies. To help achieve these goals, strong relationship building in internal networks throughout EMEA, Global & Global HQ will be required in order to support Executive Management/Holding in understanding business performance and co-driving execution of strategy. As part of this role, you will be joining a diverse and energetic team working  across EMEA  supporting  global businesses (Randstad Sourceright, Randstad Enterprise Group) as well as the global finance team of Randstad Risesmart.

 

main accountabilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis - support month-end and year-end close process for Risesmart, thoroughly monitor, analyze, and understand the performance of Risesmart EMEA, advise on key trends, deviations from planning cycle scenarios, and areas of opportunity & risk, ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

• Business Partnership - work closely with the sales organization in the analysis of new business opportunities, oversight on financial targets, and support for sales related initiatives (pricing, commissions, etc), liaise closely with all business units/countries in EMEA, ensure strong links to Global finance team and holdings building strong relationships locally, regionally and globally supporting ‘big picture’ financial processes.

• Co-Driving Business Performance - assist the executive management in the formulation of the company’s strategy, growth priorities & strategic initiatives, improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business, developing financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting.

• Global businesses - support budget and forecasting process of global cost centers, support global cost reporting and cross border invoicing, become familiar with cross border tax & transfer pricing fundamentals and apply knowledge in cross border deals and transactions

 

Your profile

• Understand global & local organisations and matrixed organisations.
•  Be able to balance local, regional & global requirements.
• Communication and relationship building skills needed to be highly effective with the ability to organize, influence, motivate and lead initiatives through diverse teams.
• To be successful the individual will show an enthusiasm to share and be a team player and will have a strong commitment to customer service, effective communication and follow through.
• Clear understanding of accounting, able to translate abstract contracts and solutions into practical accounting instructions towards local accounting teams.
• Project management, comfortable with Excel/PPT &BI tools
