About the Role

We are seeking an Application Support Specialist to join our growing team! In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our automated solutions by providing monitoring, production support, and troubleshooting expertise. You will work collaboratively with developers, infrastructure engineers, and the IT team to maintain a robust and efficient automation environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and provide production support for automated solutions using Automation Anywhere
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues
  • Collaborate with developers and infrastructure engineers on system performance, capacity management, and testing of upgrades
  • Partner with IT and application administrators to address automation environment challenges
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and issue reports from the business and Automation CoE team
  • Ensure smooth operation of scheduled automations, proactively troubleshooting issues
  • Diagnose and verify environmental issues related to applications, network, hardware, and operating systems
  • Gain a deep understanding of the automation library to troubleshoot and fix minor coding issues
  • Champion existing team processes and procedures
  • Serve as an escalation point for other Automation CoE team members on complex application issues
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications for troubleshooting procedures
  • Participate in project quality management tasks (peer reviews, design documents, code reviews)
  • Collaborate with IT to plan for system updates, upgrades, and downtime
  • Work closely with developers, infrastructure engineers, and IT to resolve environmental issues, ensuring an optimal automation environment

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical support or a related field
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure (applications, networks, hardware, operating systems)
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with automation anywhere, a360 is a bonus
