how you will contribute 

As Paid Performance Strategist, you are instrumental in shaping and executing the vision for paid performance within Randstad. Reporting directly to the Head of Paid Advertising in the Attraction and Engagement team your main focus will be on serving local markets by shaping and guiding the strategy for their paid media efforts. You will create a global paid media strategy for the different specialisations of the Randstad company. 

You are part of the talent attraction & engagement team, which has the overall objective to get the best ROI for talent acquisition and increasing talent experience. Leveraging your strategic foresight, analytical skills, and expertise in communication, you will play a key role in guiding impactful paid media initiatives across the organisation. Together with a team of media specialists from our delivery hub you will make sure to incorporate these initiatives into the campaigns and stimulate operational excellence. 

what you will be doing

  • creating a visionary framework for paid performance based on external benchmarks and industry best practices. 
  • developing specialised sourcing strategies for different specialties. 
  • you drive strategic thinking around paid media performance for Randstand and other group brands (globally), based on in-depth understanding of the Paid Media Landscape. E.g. sourcing strategies, channel blueprints and media-mix optimization; 
  • you own project management around innovation, to improve media efforts in addition to the “core” marketing activities; 
  • you create a community with best performing OpCos to share best practices 
  • you scale paid media efforts throughout strategic markets;
  • you contribute to the overall growth of the global portfolio and support local marketing teams in their ambition; 
  • you support the talent OpCo performance cycle and be able to conduct cross channel marketing conversations; 
  • you serve as a key liaison between the global and local teams, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and audience needs; 
  • you work closely with a team of paid media specialists to ensure operational excellence and improve campaign performance 
  • you closely work together with the organic performance strategists to stimulate optimal synergy between paid and owned channels. 
  • you take ownership of the tools and give recommendations for new tools 
  • establishing performance targets for paid channels across the top 10 OpCos and ensuring effective performance management. 
  • managing the blueprints for operational management of paid advertising in relation to the delivery hub. 
  • utilising insights from the delivery hub to devise solutions for key areas of improvement. supporting the talent OpCo performance cycle and facilitating cross-channel conversations. 
  • offering a paid advertising perspective in relevant programs. 
  • collaborating with other performance strategists to formulate an overarching attraction and engagement strategy. 

who will you work with

The Talent and Attraction team is structured to facilitate effective collaboration. Reporting into the Head of Paid Advertising, you'll be an integral part of a team dedicated to achieving the overarching goal of the team. Other teams are: data & automation team focusing on creating a data driven culture and increasing the engagement with our talent with marketing automation; and organic performance team to increase the organic performance of our markets. Together with the organic performance strategist and the CRM programme manager you play a key role in determining the attraction & engagement strategy of our markets.

Your high-level experience in paid advertising across SEA, META, LinkedIn, and job boards is complemented by your proficiency in project management. Your ability to simplify technical matters, and knack for making things happen in a matrix environment make you a valuable addition.
